You FOUND it! Welcome to sand bar camping on the Wisconsin River and the best river trips in the Midwest! Many of our first time customers start with an overnight canoe or kayak camping trip to get a taste for what could become a serious addiction – multi night (as many as 6 nights) camping adventures on the wide, shallow, sandy Wisconsin River. Below are our two day trip options.

To make your trip more comfortable, and drier,

Rent one of our lightweight 16′ Wenonah canoes for half a day or up to 7 days paddling a section of the Lower Wisconsin River. With the river current rolling along at roughly 3 mph, it will take approximately 30 hours to paddle the entire 92 miles of the Lower Wisconsin River, should that be your goal. Camp on the sand bars in the center of the river along the way. No permits are needed. Glass, styrofoam and fireworks are strictly prohibited and there is a hefty fine for those who don’t adhere to the policy courtesy of the Wis
